Alumni are a valued part of the NECAT family and our alumni are welcomed back to meet with the team in the Career Services and Alumni Engagement Center to revise resumes, participate in professional development training, find a new position or take part in one of our alumni networking events. NECAT’s staff reaches out to alumni regularly to find out how job placements are working out and support their transition to the workforce.
Since opening the Career Services and Alumni Engagement Center in 2022, NECAT has started offering Tech Goes Home training to alumni, which enables them to keep their Chromebook upon completion of the program. NECAT also offers credit counseling and housing workshops for alumni.
- Incentives: Alumni who refer a new student to NECAT will receive a gift card if the student they refer completes the program.
- Employment Opportunities: NECAT shares job postings and information about opportunities with our alumni community. Alumni may also schedule an appointment with our Career Services staff to discuss their career goals.
- Alumni Facebook Page: NECAT maintains a Facebook Alumni group and all are welcome to join. NECAT posts regularly about events of interest to our alumni.
- Career Counseling: Alums are invited to make an appointment with the Career Services staff to revise their resumes and discuss new opportunities. NECAT supports our alumni at every stage of their career.
