NECAT Event Space
Host your next event at NECAT. Our beautiful 11,000 square foot space is available for rental for evening and weekend events. Located just off Route 93 in the Newmarket Business Improvement District of Boston, NECAT is the perfect backdrop for your next corporate event, celebration, or holiday party. Our center is handicap accessible, with an elevator, and complimentary covered parking for guests.

Planning an event for up to 160 guests? Rent our entire culinary center and have full access to our Boardroom, Demonstration Theatre, Orchid Café and art galleries. We are happy to accommodate your event planners, bartending services and party rental vendors.
$1,800 for four hours. Reduced hourly rate for setup and teardown. NECAT catering services are available at an additional cost. Additional fees may apply for storage security, audio visual rental and setup/tear down.
The Orchid Café
(900 sf / capacity 120)
A contemporary, open-concept design with high ceilings and natural light, the cafe features casual seating for 60 guests using round tops and café chairs and can be reconfigured to seat 100. The space includes a 65” HD display monitor, complimentary Wi-Fi Perfect for association luncheons, after-work mixers, reunions, and celebrations.
(1200 sf / capacity 106 seats)
Demonstration area with seating for 106 guests. Includes refrigeration, oven, induction burners and prep table. The theatre features two, 70” HD monitors with mobile bases; microphones for amplified sound; full multimedia capability and complimentary Wi-Fi. Ideal for cooking demonstrations, product introductions, book signings and community meetings.
$400 Per hour, with a two-hour minimum. NECAT catering services are available at an additional cost.

A conference room with a beautiful hand-crafted table with seating for 12, a 70” HDTV monitor and complimentary Wi-Fi. Four-hour daytime rental includes beverages and a light breakfast or lunch. Ideal for board meetings, holiday luncheons and off-site department meetings.
$1,200 for four hours. $200 for each additional hour.
Is your space available for rental during weekdays?
Unfortunately, NECAT is not available for daytime rental. Classes are conducted on weekdays 8:00AM-3:00PM. Evening rentals are available with a move-in start time of 2:00PM.
