Encore Boston Harbor’s Amazing Giving Tuesday Event
The highly-anticipated five-star gaming resort, Encore Boston Harbor held its first fundraiser to benefit NECAT. The event took place in NECAT’s beautiful Boston training center on Giving Tuesday, on the same day that Encore announced its commitment to donate $10 million over the next four years to support a range of social programs and civic institutions that will help those in need and improve the lives of residents in local communities.
It was an extraordinary evening of generosity and support for NECAT, and a preview of what’s to come from Encore Boston Harbor. Their Executive Chefs, along with the assistance of NECAT students and graduates, created an unbelievable menu that awed the crowd of approximately 170 guests.
Encore Boston Harbor’s President Robert DeSalvio said, “through our partnership with NECAT, we are proud to make a significant impact by providing our community’s most vulnerable populations with the tools they need to rehabilitate their careers – and, we look forward to welcoming many of these trained graduates to our Encore Boston Harbor culinary team.”
