Estiben, Cohort 69

Estiben joined NECAT in January 2025 and he stands out as one of our youngest participants to ever complete the program. From the moment he entered the classroom and kitchen, it was clear that he possessed a natural talent for cooking and a passion for learning. Estiben consistently arrived ready to take on any task with focus and enthusiasm. His willingness to help in the kitchen, whether assisting his peers, jumping in to support the chef instructors, or staying late to clean up made him stand out amongst his peers. His peers selected him as the Student Leadership Award Recipient and praised his work ethic. “NECAT gave me the roadmap for where I want to go and being here has helped me see what is possible,” said Estiben. We are proud to witness his growth and can’t wait to see how far his talent and dedication will take him in this industry. Estiben dreams of someday owning a restaurant and making a name for himself in the Boston culinary world.
