Ways To Give

Donor Advised Fund

Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Is a centralized charitable account for individuals, families and businesses to make a tax-deductible charitable donation to an IRS-qualified 501 (c) (3) public charity. NECAT is an IRS-qualified charitable organization that is grateful to receive grants awarded by our supporter’s through a donor advised fund.

Donate Stock

Donating stock is up to 20% more valuable than donating cash, allowing you to make a more impactful contribution and save on your taxes. Gifting stock avoids federal capital gains tax and often donors can also claim an income tax deduction for the stock’s full value. Marketable securities can be transferred directly to our brokerage firm. The process is simple, you or your financial advisor can simply send an e-mail stating your intentions to: nancy@ne-cat.org.

Charitable Bequest

Include a few sentences in your will or living trust that leave a designated amount of money or a percentage of your estate to NECAT. Your gift entitles your estate to a federal estate tax charitable contribution deduction. Your gift, whatever the denomination, will have a profound impact on the students we serve each day.

Memory/Tribute Donations

Directing charitable donations to NECAT is a wonderful way to celebrate the life of someone who was passionate about food and improving the lives of others. NECAT’s empowering culinary training program is changing lives. Help us change more lives together.
